The Indian Ocean offers a great variety and quantity of marine fauna which, for those who love this sport, offers great satisfaction. The most important and famous fishing spots in Kenya are Malindi, Watamu, Pemba and Shimoni and the fish you will find in their waters vary, depending on the seasons, from marlin (striped, blue and black) to yellowfin tuna, from swordfish to barracuda, from King fish to sailfish, from whaoo to sharks (tiger, hammerhead and mako). January for example is the best period for fishing for Marlin, Barracuda, Dorado and Tuna.
